When the familiar structures collapsed, Hans Edens found himself standing outside everything he once recognised - outside certainty, outside direction, outside the circle he thought he belonged to. The album Outside the Circle was not conceived as a project, but as a lifeline: a way to map the inner terrain of loss, renewal and the slow return of breath.
